If Union Hill mine is not paying its way then shut it down and mothball it until a proper drilling program can be completed.
Focus everything on the A1 mine where there are proven grades. At least the geologists there can walk amongst the old diggings and take samples to be assayed.
The reason why CTL could not get finance from the banks is they had no results of a detailed and credible drilling program to show how much gold is in the ore at what depth at Union Hill Gold Mine, in my opinion. I believe there is gold there but you cannot just dig blindly for it.
At the A1 mine to their credit they did try a long hole exploration drilling program but were foiled by having to drill through old workings which made it an extremely difficult if not impossible task. As I said at least at the A1 as they dewater the mine the Geo's can take samples from the old workings and mining can be done in a planned way.
Next weeks report from CTL should give details of what grades were coming out of Union Hill Gold Mine. Its no good saying less than 3 grams per tonne. Is it 2grams per tonne or 1 gram per tonne or .056 of a gram per tonne.
They have run thousands of tonnes from Union Hill through the mill, they must know how much gold has been recovered. They must know the grade. We need to be informed.
