I'm afraid that @vontrader regards the latest thought bubble from John Momis as more of an indication of reality. A dose of reality re sovereign risk would be for him to read the letter that Momis sent to BCL MD Paul Quodling on May 4th 1987. I have steered the RTG cheer leaders in the direction of Paul Quodling's 1991 book by way of background but this has been scoffed at. Anyone (other than BCL) aspiring to take on this project needs to understand (or at least know about) what happened back in 1987-89 and then ask themselves why couldn't it happen again?
