STO is continuing to make good progress. Net debt coming down, revenues still increasing (slightly), net cash flow increasing. Next cab off the rank is a new project to provide an uplift in revenue - a number of internal candidates – Narrabri, Barossa, PNG expansion.
So what is the company worth? Market cap yesterday was $10b, today $13b, in a couple of years ? Can see that $15+b is achievable.
Given the progress of the company, and growth opportunities on the horizon, suspect Harbour needed to put close to their best offer forward. Is it enough? Depends on the patience of the major shareholders and/or a competitor bid. All IMO of course.
