    re: Ann: Realestate.com.au integrates Adslot&... Today's announcement from WFM is a significant milestone in the validation of the Adslot technology. For those of you who have missed the announcement Webfirm has announced the first major sale of the Adslot technology to online publisher Realestate.com. Although the terms of the contract are confidential, anecdotal evidence would suggest that the revenue that will flow to WFM will be significant.

    I believe the management team at WFM have closed their first deal in an incredibly short time frame, highlighting the significant value that the Adslot technology offers to customers. So how does the Adslot technology help online customers like REA:

    * It increases existing revenues
    * It adds new revenue streams, hence diversifying income for the publisher
    * It reduces costs for publishers
    * And, it makes the publishers staff dramatically more efficient.

    Why could WFM be the next computershare?

    * Firstly Chris Morris the founder of CPU owns circa 9 to 10% of WFM.
    * Secondly CPU took an archaic industry which was highly manual, being the movement of share certificates and automated the process, (which is exactly what WFM is planning to do with the Advertising industry)
    * Thirdly CPU had fairly unique technology with a global application which they rolled out successfully globally. (WFM should be able to do the same)
    * Fourthly CPU had a strong, driven, competent management team (As does WFM)

    Although Webfirm is a highly speculative investment, post this deal I personally value WFM at 10c - 15c and with the advent of further major contracts to be signed with additional Australian Online publishers in the near term, I could see this valuation stretching to 20c to 30c, this is before the technology is rolled out globally. When Computershare rolled out its technology globally in 1994 it went from 14c to $10 in 2000.

    This is still the ground floor, with a spectacular board and management team I can see further success for long-term shareholders.
