So much for the question of social licence in Africa that my old friend Loki (who I estranged on these threads for his endless negativity when it came to the gold price and gold stocks) liked to espouse as one of the causes for RSG's coming demise. Looks like Queensland is even more needy than Africa. I should I say greedy.

I can't say I know anything about this school other than what's been written in this announcement but from a casual read it sounds like there is an old historic unused school sitting somewhere in the way of the project and RSG are going to relocate the old school building and build a brand new state school around it. I thought the building of state schools was the responsibility of state governments and the tax payers of those states not public companies. Talk about arm twisting, I thought the days of Joh Bjelke-Petersen (the white Mugabe of QLD) were over, seemingly not.

No mention of any divestment or spin-off in this announcement. Hopefully this school is just more spring cleaning before the for sale sign goes up. I'd rather take my chances with the tribes in Africa than the natives of Queensland. Esh
