Internal battery capabilities
Over the last quarter, all battery related work has been successfully transitioned in- house. This demonstrates a positive refinement from Anteo’s initial approach that relied heavily on external parties to create the initial results demonstrating the benefits from using AnteoCoatTM in lithium ion battery applications.
The current approach was made possible by the continued improvements to internal battery capabilities that have been evidenced over the past months. With these capabilities now in place, and continuing to evolve, Anteo is well positioned to build initial data packages on novel approaches internally. This tactic gives Anteo greater control over development parameters, experimental timelines and the protection of commercially sensitive information.
Accordingly, the focus will continue to be on generating results internally and, when desirable, having these data sets verified and validated by external parties. This will see the further backing of internal capabilities in the battery space and the creation of additional intellectual property to protect new findings. These actions form an important part of Anteo’s intellectual property and commercial strategy in driving the battery projects forward.

Battery team

In line with the internal growth in the battery projects and the technology’s continuous exposure to various external industry parties, Anteo will be looking to grow its battery team. This is a critical step to provide the project with additional and complementary skill sets but also to prepare for growth as technical and commercial interactions with potential partners and customers intensify.
Additional team members will not only support increased testing throughput and accommodate upcoming work with external parties (as required) but also ensure that progress can be made on multiple product opportunities.
