I am an Auditor and a chartered Accountant.

i can assure you that Auditors would look at all the supporting documentation of such a claim as it would most certainly be a material amount of a companys financials , especially a junior explorer.

It is not just a line item, it could certainly have a massive effect on whether some companies will be able to maintain its ability to run as a "going concern"

no auditor would sign off a set of accounts if they believed an R and D grant would not be received and the Companys directors did not remove it from the financials

line item in the P and L . what an ignorant thing to say.
