It has everything to do with Alibaba - it is their streaming service which is being touted to keep Netflix out of China....

....and if Netflix can't get in with their clout and money (BTW I'm sure they will eventually), then what hope do QFX have.
And then, as has been pointed out, QFX has a track record of announcing things which never come to pass.
