FYI: The fund was shutdown earlier this year after a number of years of poor performance and growing redemptions. He should really update his profile to reflect this (or does he want people to think he is still running the small cap fund?)
His Modus Operandi is to accumulate a position in a small, relatively illiquid stock and then start pumping it hard on social media with very bullish analysis and price targets- often multiples above the current price (and arguably intrinsic value) - Twitter, LinkedIn, Hotcopper (where he appears to use the handles Johnsham and Barginhunter). Check out SPZ, ITD, PPL, DSE, PFG, EML. He's been called out by a number of people for ramping. I do wonder how long he holds these positions or sells into the price momentum generated by the co-ordinated pumps?
