When unloading their Qantas shares, Franklin Resources (being based overseas) used to sell fairly large blocks of shares when the Aust dollar showed a slight bit of strength. (I followed it closely). I suspect they are unloading a lot of shares today because they think (and so do I) that the Aust dollar is headed a lot lower at some stage reasonably soon.
I have no intention of selling my SBM, or any of my other gold mining companies.
