It is likely they will only be able to attract them with a discounted placement.
We are now at 11.5 on large volume. No reason to bid this up for months if the quarterly is anything to go by, so I reckon the dilution will happen at 10c if we are **lucky**.
Disaster for all retail holders, esp those in since the float.
If they don't get a cash buffer (oil production to be shut down for the workover?) these guys risk looking like chumps if this becomes the next Baraka, and therein lies the placement plan IMO.
I never liked this UK deal - sloshed all our cash away, didn't get any institutional interest (which I was hoping for as it is now an 'earner') and now face a high risk drill with no cash buffer and huge spend commitments in TZ and on others if approvals come). UK wouldn't ave been so bad with a couple of $m to spare, but now we face an imminent dilution.
