I don't quite know what to make of this shaft change. It is a pretty fundamental change at what must be considered a very late stage in the project. How do you wake up now and say it should go to level 10? What changed??!!

To just say our consultants advised us is not a reason it's just redirection. What were the reasons they had for advising this change, and what has occurred since the project started to make these reasons compelling. There must be sound cost benefit reasons to do this - as in dollars to the bottom line! They obviously have this information because the planning for the project itself is very advanced.

Is this the reason the MD didn't hang around until a replacement was found?
