Someone asked a really good question about the study design of which NTI is undertaking and I thought I would also post it here:


The NTI study tests many outcomes for children with autism - not just balance and coordination (which I might add is a real neurological consequence for children with autism. So if the mente autism neurofeedback device improves balance you know that through the changing of beta and theta waves you can conclude it is having a real neuro adaptive function in the individual user.

Stating that, NTIs mente autism study is also measuring outcomes surrounding:

1) Visual evoked response (eye contact)
2) Behavioural function (improved melt down)
3) Language skills (vocalisation)
4) Social responsiveness scale (higher levels of sociability)
5) Changes in the Autism behaviour checklist

So some pretty major outcome measures!
