Probably because .02c would not give the new investors enough of the assets.
To really know why this is happening you really have to go back to the beginning of this company
Add up ALL the funds raised
Deduct management fees , commissions, management options and operating costs.
Then look at the mines and ask if they would have been bought by a tier ONE or TWO company
Then ask yourself . IF Rio-Tinto cannot make Riversdale pay ,and open cut mines are being mothballed in Queensland how is CCC ever going to repay Shareholders?
As well look at where the money has gone in almost ALL OKAP companies
