    A couple of things to consider with the drilling. 
    One is access to the ground including during total fire ban days - so rig production might be down, cropping and running stock are other considerations and exploration may need to schedule around this. 
    From experience a 600 meter hole can be knocked out in a week plus or minus a couple of days.  A drill rig capable of drilling this sorts of depths typically cost around 250 k per month plus or minus 20k once all the plods, consumables and "others" are totalled.  so a 600m hole is circa 70-80k in drilling costs - typically triple this number to pay for staff and assays.
    Having the company pull back and think about what it has and wait on assays has to be supported, spend the money on exploration, but spend it wisely.
    There seems to be something here - just where "here" is the challenge
