IMO, I think not Junior. Besides the rock structure has not changed and has been known for a long time. The Wattenberg Field comparisons have been used before.
Its hard enough to get "homogenous" geology within a county let alone homogeneity from hundreds of miles away. The EFS, Bakken, Delaware, Midland and DJ Basin's proof of that. Many have "explored" Greenhorn, Codell, Ft Hays, J Sand - see Bonanza Creek Energy (Ch 11 reorg) and Synergy Resources now named SRC Energy for presentations.
It's a bit of marketing along with a "free look". Good to generate interest and "upside potential". Its comes to the same point - who will risk capital on that play when there are plentiful others which appear to offer less risk and higher reward ... that's the choice isn't it.
A much better prayer is for the Bird to hit oil and avoid the gas pockets.
