Now I will issue a caution right from the start of this post. What I am going to explore is purely speculative but is certainly interesting to contemplate.
Following up on my suggestion that as Gordon Moseby as the Managing Director of New Era had previously had a number of years involvement with Beach Energy (2002 - 2015) and as New Era has indicated a strong interest in being involved with the Cooper /Eromanga basin area I have suggested that it was likely that the 50% positions in two onshore oil and gas exploration blocks in the Cooper basin in South Australia were obtained from Beach.
To check out possible links to Beach I have just been combing through some of the announcements etc from Beach. The most productive find was the 2018 Annual Report (23 Oct 2018). If you go well through the report to page # 127 there you will find the long list of tenements that Beach has an interest in. Now as you glance through the list then you will find that here and there appears the letters BPT which on page # 130 is defined as Beach Energy Ltd..
Now BPT has stakes in quite a few wells by the look of things ....and not just in the Cooper/Eromanga basin by the way.
Okay CAUTION ! Obviously this is all a case of adding two and two together and maybe getting an answer that is a way off beam but it is tantalizing all the same. Of course even if I am half correct we don't know what type of arrangement is going to come out of the shake down between New Era and IND. Would the new company have all of New Era's tenement interests included in it or would there be some arrangement that the new company would be some sort of stand alongside company to the original private New Era. I am not sure that that would be possible. So interesting to speculate but we will have to await confirmation to see if I am even half right.
