Just poking about on the basis of what I had compiled there i came across this interesting little bit of information. Now maybe my brow is becoming far too fevered but humour me a little here and see what you think.
Here is a little excerpt i found while looking at Beach Energy site:
"Beach has established a world-class operated oil business on the Western Flank of the Cooper Basin, and has grown to become Australia’s largest onshore oil producer.We have an active operated drilling program focused on key Western Flank play fairways, and we continue to develop our acreage across the Cooper Basin.In FY19, Beach plans to participate in up to 87 Cooper Basin JV wells (+36% from FY18), with up to 65 wells targeting gas and 22 oil and up to 43 Western Flank wells, with 35 targeting oil."

Now it sort of makes sense that with Gordon Moseby's long work history with Beach Energy that he is very likely to know a fair bit about their prospects in the Cooper/Eromanga basin and would have links back in his previous company. Obviously from the above information Beach certainly has a number of JV projects in the pipeline this year and it makes a lot of sense that two of those projects could be ones that New Era has taken a 50% farm in agreement or intention with.
I wonder if I have struck oil or gas with that ?
