Agree, that to go with the automation was an interesting step, but think the CEO likely went to too many innovation conferences in and around rugby tournaments. The caving technique is very much traditional and worked wonderfully well for them at Ravenswood on lower grades and much lower ounces per vertical metre. A good underground should draw at least 2000 ounces per vm, this monster is likely to be north of 6000 ounces per vm by my rough and conservative calcs.
Let's all make judgement in 6 months time! Confident we'll see the real Syama project firing by then.
