Who knows.....New mines are always problematic.......I've reduced my holding quite a bit in line with my rising concern and belief costs are escalating, but you can't help being enticed by the size and potential going forward.......I'm pretty sure it will work out but how much it will cost to get to a profitable state and what the final AISC's will be are just a guess.......My guess is that development metre costs are significantly above expectations and that the eventual AISC level will be higher than the published figures in the revised DFS,....and that these will not settle down for another 12+ months.....Remember none of the mining costs associated with the Syama underground have been expensed as yet, it is all being capitalised, so we are a long way from fully understanding how profitable the mine will ultimately be.
As for the stacking of the buy side, that has been going on for weeks.....I'm more inclined to believe that it is associated with parties appointed to manage the London listing - supporting the price for a probable CR.
