The SPP closed today.
The closing price was 22 cents on very low volume (7 trades for volume of 63,421 share). Just before the close the sellers were were asking 22 cents and the buyers offering 22.5 cents !!! The sudden drop from 23 cents to 22 cents occured right at the end of trading.
This is normal trading in a company with a tier 1 discovery? I don't think so. At the AGM someone must ask the MD for his thoughts on what appears to be abnormal trading, particularly when the SPP offer is 25 cents for a further 5 million shares. Naturally I didn't take up the offer but have been buying lower on the market. Hopefully there will be a positive market release on Monday or early next week.
