Believing the lab tests and ignoring the results from previous field leach trials was what got them in this mess in the first place?
Further, the focus of these 2 (yes, a whole two) had groundwater restoration as a primary focus. And "mining". Important, sure but matters not if metallurgy is assumed from a small number of tests that don't mimic reality.
As long as you believe the assumptions, nothing else matters. Don't let me cause you to second guess your thorough technical analysis.
