Addendum: Could it be that the market is going to ignore SLR because so much of production is hedged in this rising POG scenario unwinding ?
Next key resistance is US$1260, then $1280 then $1300 then liftoff .... naked shorts head handed to them on a platter.
Also, it seems that institutions are favouring larger cap stocks, and when companies such as NST expand their market cap with good acquisition, the SP gets a bigger boost. WGX SP is disintegrating despite unloading some of its Kalgoorlie assets to NST.
If SLR could find a suitable dance partner to merge with or acquire, then the SP would substantially improve like when it merged with IGR. Only this time, the merger should be competently handled like IGR handled the merger - they won by losing. A lot of locked up value in SLR can only be released for shareholders by SLR becoming part of a much bigger entity. Cheaper capita, less overheads, new blood on BOD, less need to accumulate cash to insulate BOD & management ...... SLR BOD needs to get big or get out .... send them a message.
