Sure, but, for the 2017 meeting there were 3.1 billion shares on issue and there were 137 million votes for (clearly the Directors abstained)and 10,736 votes against the Remuneration Report. You would have needed just 35 million votes against last year to have defeated the Remuneration Report. Would it be any different this year?
The largest number of specific votes for all other Resolutions, for and against, only totalled 1.3 billion, just 40% of the I.C. and that would have included the Directors!
