BM, if you are only considering jumping into MGX now, i don't believe you should worry yourself about MGX's Mid West operations. They are of no real long-term value or significance to MGX.
MGX is all about KI and the near term potential mining of 65% Fe, as well as their current cash pile......
Simply, most of the IO miners 'hide' their real cost of production, particularly of recent times when the discounting for anything under 62% Fe has substantially increased.
Any investment decision on MGX at the moment is all about KI - period.
