Coal in the ground remains coal in the ground if it is uneconomic, and is of little value.
A more balanced view (pending demonstration of any even pre-conceptual project economics by the project proponents - which should be a priority whether they wish to sell or eventually develop) is that BCB is worth nothing or a little more than current price.
E.g. taking say 80 Mt JORC Ind/Inf at Cooroorah and 200 Mt Ind/Inf at Hillalong (if they spend the $ in exploration to drill it ! - potentially $2-3M), and assuming that both are potentially economic then the potential sale value through to point of having an Indicated/Inferred resource is probably of the order of 2 - 5 - 10c /JORC tonne so that would imply A$5.6 - 14 - 28M for the two projects combined). For the issued 499.49M shares, this implies value of 1.1 to 2.8 to 5.6c per share .... IF the projects are potentially economic ... and if not then shares are a liability (holding cost of tenure and spend commitments to retain) and not an asset.
