They all have to deal with rain. BOM stats suggest that LD is no wetter than elsewhere, in fact the rainfall is higher at other SOP sites.
Re the ponds perhaps the clay is more permeable than originally thought. Alternatively they need to revise their construction technique.
I would suggest that RWD is more likely to report negatives than some of the other SOP hopefuls.
