The concerning thing is that the government is in reallity just after a fairly fast cash grab via energy shipments to Japan against growing food for the wold by using brown coal to make fertiliser. There are ways to convert brown coal into energy for use in Australia but the government panders to the whisperers that most likely make a profit selling energy to the Japanese market. We sell cheap energy to Japan but I bet they export the proceeds back to us at 50 times our initial sale price.
