This certainly tells me one thing, they ARE listening to numerous complaints re lack of involvement with their shareholders. This is very obvious to me. But, the above is a legal requirement under the Corporations Act, it is not unique to Laneway.

These are the key words that we must always remember "Any material information we disclose is released to the ASX before any supplementary announcement is made to the media, shareholders or analysts.

I don't think that anyone is doubting that. It's the LAW!!
But, what, I believe, is reasonable to believe and will not breach THEIR obligations for release of "material" information is their meaning of material. They seem to have adopted the meaning to be that ANYTHING to do with ongoing negotiations is material. Surely just giving us exactly the same cut and paste in every announcement can only be interpreted that nothing is happening or they are simply treating their shareholders with contempt.
Shareholders know that they can't provide every movement in negotiations, but, surely, they can at least tell us what stage those negotiations have reached and if there are or are not any unexpected obstacles. That is, IMO, NOT "material" it's just basic respect because they must surely know that having had to wait for a seemingly unreasonable time, with absolutely no idea why, is causing much angst among the majority of shareholders, with, some, actually selling at a loss, to rid that frustration.
