The crossing made me pull my finger out to hop on-board, the big players would have known there was a bigish seller around imo, they have to communicate to come up with a price and make the crossing, the recent news that caused the SP to drop may have forced the sellers hand to sell down to the buyers price.
i.e and for eg.- Seller says to buyer ive got 60 mil shares to sell, what price are you buyers willing to cough for a decent chunk in a crossing, buyer says X amount or you can take weeks/months to feed them out on market, then news comes without the visible drill results, big seller loses patience and sells down to meet the big buyers crossing price so they can move on with their funds.
Just a theory and a view i have because i didn't think the latest news was that bad.
