I know that - you didn't read my post very carefully - I clearly stated that the only reference to the list I could find on the SLR website to the list was in the FY AR.
If you look carefully at p82 of the AR, you'll see its listed by Holder, not by owner .... get it. I don't give a rat's whose holding the stock - nor does anybody else - who owns it, and controls it and agrees to lend it for shorting is what one wants to know. I can tell you for certain that the list is out of date and the composition of the top20 owners is significantly different - that's my point.
In an age of instant electronic communications, the information should be available on the company website, and accurate till 3 days ago to allow for the standard settlement period.
I know this can be done because in the past, I have contacted company executives about disconcerting selling pressure, and they have been able to find out whose selling in short order. They rarely share that info with SH!
Almost 6 million shares last Friday .... who has that many shares ?? One can suppose that the short sellers tripped a lot of 'stops' by amateur traders or VE or GOK. An updated Top 20 on Monday would make interesting reading ??
