Hmm.. interesting thoughts, and I'd certainly be pro a buyback if it does indeed result in a higher share price. But, I'd be pretty confident they have considered it, which begs the question why would they not be doing a buyback?
My thoughts are they are very focused on diversifying out of iron ore and will likely spend a large chunk of that 500M on a cash generating asset. What or where I don't know. But Zinc, Lithium and Cobalt are all pretty good ideas.
