Well at least the government and Barrick are negotiating. IF this get sorted fairly and the government doesn't do anything else stupid there is a chance BUT farout anything is possible. Changes to the mining code don't look that bad, just a few extra %. Except the 15% of mines bit, clarification is needed on how that works. There is hope, if the governement starts acting rationally, BUT if not MSR should just walk from the project imo. I also suspect Barrick/Acacia may not be entirely innocent and have in part triggered this mess.
