If you read the KLL technical report, on p26 they talk about trench modeling.
They estimate that a 3x3x1000m trench would have a refill of 7L/second.
That equates to 25 cubes per hour.
Compare that to actual pumping on LD of 159 cubes per hour per Km.
Furthermore, earlier in the report, when describing the surface alluvium, some of the terms are very similar to those used in describing LD. Alluvial deposits can and go contain clay.
They talk of two distinct aquifers in Beyondie separated by a clay layer whereas Ruane has said that the LD resource is open in all directions.
I'm not yet convinced that Beyondie is a better resource but it does appear to have better K concentrations than MacKay or SO4 and infrastructure looks good though they will still need to upgrade 78km of track.
