I've been doing some research and on the conservative results obtained by the drilling & testing program that's roughly $30 m of recoverable gold. The tailings dam has been sitting for 20 years so I'll propose the following. As cyanide was originally used to liberate gold there would be residual cyanide working on the gold not recovered and at the same time oxidation would be occurring rendering the gold remaining much easier to obtain. As the tailings are mostly sand in size any remaining gold would tend , over the years, to sink towards the bottom of the heap. The remaining cyanide would continue it's action until it was depleted meaning that the very bottom of the dam should be enriched. The 43 gram sample appears to bear this out but this is only my speculation.
Of this one thing I'm certain, and I've mentioned it before, the gold lode did not peter out.... it disappeared. This means 1oo% that the remaining part of the lode is there.. close by... somewhere. ... techtonically displaced. The Diatreme ( and partners) geos most certainly know this ..... and I remain quietly confident that they'll find it. My prediction.... this is a 10 bagger without counting the rare earths, which by the way I consider a done deal. My only fear is a premature Chinese takeover at bugger all per share.
