Notwithstanding the potential for copious amounts of O & G to still be found by QPN in time to come, IF they ever get a drill into the ground, my reading the Quarterly brings up far more questions than answers.

During the quarter, the company purchased a shell company...... For what reason? In the interests of transparency, surely an explanation was warranted.

The Company is now in ongoing discussions with various parties to fund a continued work program and possible drilling program at Ranau PSC..... So, they don't have enough of shareholders money left (no surprise) to do what they said the CR was for back in 2012. Dilution no doubt significant (if it happens), but better that than 80% of nothing for the chance to drill the prospects.... The lack of any detailed explanation re. the progress and/or potential timeline for any expanded seismic, if it is indeed required, is again unfortunately par for the course.

My Favourite - Quest continues to review proposals with the view to acquiring a near term production asset. Been reviewing these since Adam was a boy - or so it seems.

Sincere and serious Question. How does one acquire a producing or near to producing asset ? Don't you need money to buy it ? How would we pay for it? Get a loan ? If it truly is an attractive near term or producing asset worth having, surely we would get out bid by some other company with more money available to them.

If they don't want money for it, do they want to give it to us in exchange for our expertise? That 'expertise' that hasn't yet put a drill in the ground for us!

Am I missing something here? I sincerely hope I am and would be happy for someone to explain to me why anyone would sell a worthwhile asset to us when we 1/ don't have much money to offer them and 2/ haven't even shown that we can get any value from our own 'asset'.
