I've read the Quarterly again. Could you please point us to "Short Term Production Strategy" please.

If you meant the section titled "Near Term Production Strategy", it tells us they have been actively reviewing acquisition opportunities that would provide Quest with an attractive near term or producing asset or assets.

OK. Good. They've been saying effectively the same thing for several quarterly's... have they not?

Did you read on? They also say that as of June 30 2014, Quest had identified several opportunities that met the criteria (near term or producing asset or assets). They also said they warrant further due diligence and appraisal work.

So, that doesn't sound like anything is just around the corner. Might turn out to be the case, but doesn't automatically mean that something WILL happen 'short term'.

Now... and please assist me and other readers of the thread with your insights on the following... 'IF' and/or once we find something worth having, AFTER we eventually complete our further due diligence and appraisal work, how are we going to pay for it? You know what's in the kitty. If something is out there that is available for purchase and is already making money, or close to doing so, wouldn't they want more than Quest could afford to pay?

Am happy to be called an 'idiot' if you can enlighten the thread as to how we are going to effectively 'steal' this money maker for next to nothing. Indeed, I would like nothing more than to read your reply and think, gee, Purd's right.

    regards
