I heard back and in short the JV is NOT off. Peruvian governmnet red tape is dragging things out a bit. They do not have much to ann as yet but the cogs are turning and patience is required.
The language and tone used appeared rather positive and management remains excited and optomistic that they have quality tenements in both Chile and Peru............I was happy to hear this as the tenements that they hold was what got me intersted in the first place.
Time to sit back or go fishing............
