Gee that's the usual amount of lecturing and I particularly am amused by the default to saying there's victimhood in my claims.I think people do sway opinions based on small things like eyeballing and feel good gestures. It works as excellent marketing, and it's why people who do it. Recipients develop biases. It works.
As for putting me in a corner. Clearly I'm still posting, so ask yourself who's the victor and victim here.
Surely such binary thinking is unproductive at best.
What's the victim? Surely it's the quality of discussion.
Now some people have finally found the ignore button. OK good for them. But they're still free to post. Choosing not to and blaming me personally is just weird. We're all free to post and free to ignore. But it's their way or the highway?
Reality has an existence of it's own, even if it's ignored. There. Some philosophy for you in exchange for the many lectures on what I should/shoudn't be saying or doing.
It's untrue to claim that negative comments, taunting etc that have come my way hasn't happened. But I don't mind. It's just that in among that are false assumptions. I can put disclosure up all I like, and remind people all I like that on balance I'm still hopeful but it hardly registers.
I don't construe GC as villain, although I am considerably less enarmoured of him than I was. I just don't think he's got what it takes to run a company and it seems nobody is keen to reinstate him. Victims? GC painted himself as constant victim even though he was in charge of the thing. The terrible lenders, the terrible Diasource, the terrible Philips....everything was terrible except it seems, his grip on how to run a company?
What worries me is the failure to understand commercial realities which remain recent. Like the reported laughter at the Roadshow in terms of about how much we can expect in terms of revenue from diagnostics. $1 per unit is laughable? I mean, OK but nothing to show why it's ever going to be commercially sustainable. Which begs the question why the continued focus. It's a reasonable question to ask but nobody likes it.
If I'm concerned that even if batteries works out, it can still become a vanity project, I have reasons.
There are indeed issues that nobody wants to talk about. That reflects on them.
