While exploration at such wow seems positive, what are the chances of actually getting an agreement with the local indigenous land owners to mine any resource that they discover? Considering that ERA , who have been operating in the NT for 30 odd years cant even get an agreement to mine Ranger 3 Deeps, which is at an existing mine, I would suggest that at the very least it will take a long time to get a mining agreement, if ever. Another hurdle for the project will be environmental studies that will need to prove that they will not do long term damage to the environment/wildlife and convincing the powers that be in government. Then you will have the anti- everything protesters/lock the gate/getup etc putting pressure on politicians to stop any proposed mine. And knowing how weak todays politicians are, they will probably cave in to the protesters. I would keep all that in mind before betting the farm on such wow.
