The December quarterly report was light on detail about the upcoming plans for this quarter, but they did say:
"The significant increase in resources at Walford Creek now enables optimisation of the previous preliminary economic assessments. Additionally, a drill campaign is forecast to commence in April utilising 3 rigs to drill at least 30,000m to advance the known mineralisation to development status as well as to test the 22 kms of potential extension of the current Resources on the Company’s 100% owned tenements."
So probably because of the wet season, the drilling activity will crank up next quarter (from April). So news from AML will be quiet until then. But hopefully management will be working hard to get everything else squared away. (Are they doing any exploring at the other tenemants?)
There have been a few posts here recently questioning AML's road access to ports, etc. Now, if Walford Creek turns out to be as super huge as we hope, then maybe the northern infrastructure money ($1 billion?) that the feds plan to give to ADANI to build road/rail (can't remember), would be better spent improving road/rail for AML. (So far they have a good track record of getting 2 grants from the QLD govt.)
