Yes that is possible. My gut says they deliberately mentioned it in order to add some speculative value and be the basis of an appreciation of the share price. These guys are professional corporate advisors in this space and know how to pump the price. I'm hesitant to say it, because I've called it a few times already and been wrong - but this seems to be the catalyst for the reversal. Liquidity has dried up down here signally that supply has tightened and accumulation may be over. This means it shouldn't be too difficult for the share price to move on lower volume. This will attract speculators who believe the price is rising because the acquisition of the fin tech is close, which will further perpetuate additional gains. OOK can then use the Actuity placement to gently raise capital into the price appreciation (I might add without further dilution because the shares are already quoted) which can fund the deal. Sounds simple right?!
