Question answered. Somewhere in these last few posts it was mentioned that these anomalies are tested at surface.
If that is the case how indicative are they? An adjoining explorer's site mentions that the Murray Basin sediments range from 10 to 110 metres deep where they are working. 110 metres is a long long way.
If they think they have a red hot prospect in their sights why not put down one hole to surface of bedrock and test for anomalies there?
