Don't know if you've noticed, but it's winter. Winter in that part of the world means rain. Rain means extremely boggy conditions. Extremely boggy conditions means you can't do any work involving machinery - which in that part of the world means you can't do any work at all.

Now, I suppose management could listen to you and run off and get bogged, burning cash to achieve nothing. Or they could wait for the weather to improve and line up the next lot of targets over the winter and be much more effective at hitting them when the time is right.

Which would you prefer?
