One thing I have been wandering about is why is the whole board of TAM non-executive? if they were not part of the negotiations then they would simply be voting yes/no at the board but who was doing the talking to MLX?
I went to the website but it gives nothing away - I found reference to the company secretary & CFO in the quarterly sounds like a very small office - the CFO would be part time and unlikely to be the one wheeling and dealing - this really has me scratching my head because non-execs don't get involved in the day to day - they attend board meetings and vote? according to releases the whole board are non-executives - if thats the case then MLX may well have approached TAM not the other way round?
