The underwriters collected 38.3million or so shares in the placement, Walker's 60% stake being approx 23million.

So in addition to the 24million in his name it takes his interests in WPI to 47million or 23.5%.

The 4 directors and their 3 associated companies (GWR, BlueBay and the underwriting company) hold approx 74%.

I have no idea what the top 20 hold.

Can't be too much free float out there.

I think your first figures were right... but if you got a reference to it please share... as per change of directors interest notice MW owns 24m shares including the rights issue... happy to be wrong though
