It's for patients who have been on a the same medication for some time and have to take it, eg. Contraception and epilepsy meds. The GP reviews your application for the script through the platform he/she can check, if you are refilling at correct times or the GP can call you in for your script if needed be.
Its just cutting the doc appointment out saving time for everyone. GP link no GP link these people will still be getting the meds so contraindications have the same chance of happening if anything GP link is favored as the GP can see when the script has been handed in and renewals occur.
