I have too concur with Cornhulio, since my original post I did more investigating and contact my broker friend who said he had tried several times to contact the company a few months ago and didn’t get a response. He finally got hold of the MD and arranged a meeting in which Ian confirmed the time and place.
When the time came, Ian never showed up for the meeting or contact him about cancelling and/or rescheduling. My broker mate said he made numerous attempts afterwards to contact Ian and left messages with response to date.
When directors don’t make the time to call back investors, let alone a broker who was potentially looking to assist the company, in his view and 15 years’ experience this usually indicates the potential for more near term negativity and investor/shareholder wealth destruction.
As my mate put it “avoid for now (or even for ever) as their better opportunities in other companies…’’
