Shares were originally issued to DRD by West Wits for the acquisition of the
Randfontein Cluster assets which have since been sold to Mintails Limited.
we sold the Randfontein assets to mintails for 9 million which cost us 38 million shares so in effect drd paid 4.2 cents per share, not to shabby,and since they have a director on our board they know what is happening in derewo and are happy to come on board for the ride.
I don't think they would be in any hurry to dump stock at these prices so I am quietly confident all is well.
