Happytrader, personally for the RC and DD drilling underway at the moment at both Mt Venn and the Eastern Mafic I would think the lab assays will take longer than 2 - 3 weeks, although no doubt they will send of cores to the labs as they complete each hole. I assume if in the meantime there is something that looks visually of interest they might provide the on-site indicative assay using the Niton XRF, but this is only to be considered a rough and ready measurement procedure. The market tends to fairly acceptive of Niton XRF assays of drill cores ( or even RC drill chips) although it is understood the lab assays are the final word
The air core drilling lab assays completed last Quarter could come at any time but somehow I think they will hold these while awaiting the RC/DD results. They have already said that positive Niton scans of the air core drilling coincide more or less with the locations of the underlying conductors. I really don't think that in the scheme of things the air core results will be of that much importance to us at this point of time, but for GBR internal purposes it will assist in maybe prioritizing which conductors to target.
